The Four Moves
A feeling that cannot be measured runs you. A number you can watch, you can move.
1 · Name the thought
Write the thought plainly. One thought, not the whole storm.
2 · Rate it
How much do you believe it, 0 to 100? Do not overthink the number - the first honest gut number is the one.
3 · The reframe
Challenge it - what is fairer, what did it skip? Write the truer thought. Not fake-positive, just more complete.
4 · Re-rate it
Now rate the first thought again. If the number dropped, you just watched a lie lose its grip - that is the proof, in your own handwriting.
See it worked through first
Ninety to fifty. Nothing about the day changed - only the grip of the thought did, and that is everything.
Scale the Thought
Name it, rate it, reframe it, then re-rate it and watch the number move.
Stuck? Ask these
These pry a thought open. Tap one to drop it in, then answer it.
No buttons working? Just take a screenshot - your filled-in record is the deliverable.

The thought said it was the whole truth. The number says it moved. You took it captive, and it bowed.
"We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
2 Corinthians 10:5Re-rating a thought after challenging it helps the brain re-file the memory a little less charged - each pass can soften how hard it lands next time. See the research.
A general mechanism, not a guarantee. This supports good care; it doesn’t replace it.
