The Three Moves
You are not starting from nothing. You are standing on a pile of things you already survived.
1 · Name a hard thing you survived
One hard season or moment you came through - it does not have to be the biggest. It has to be real, and it has to be over.
2 · Name what it took
What did you use to get through it? Patience, faith, sheer stubbornness, help you let in. Those are not gone. You still have them.
3 · Name what it proves
Say it plainly: if you survived that, today is not the first impossible thing you have faced. It is the next one - and the record says you make it through.
See it worked through first
The first year felt impossible too. You are reading this, which means you made it. That is the proof.

Raise the stone and name it: thus far, He has helped. The God who carried you through the last hard thing has not changed, and neither has what He put in you.
"Thus far the Lord has helped us."
1 Samuel 7:12Recalling hard things you have already survived strengthens self-belief - past mastery is the strongest evidence the brain has that you can do hard things again. See the research.
